Almond Milk Overnight Oats with Berries

- 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats (certified gluten-free if needed)
- 1 tablespoon ground flax
- 3/4 cup almond milk (or dairy milk)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Handful of fresh or frozen berries
- Handful of sliced almonds
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
In a mason jar or small bowl, combine oats, ground flax, almond milk, and optional chia seeds.
Screw on the lid tightly or cover the bowl, and shake or stir the ingredients to combine.
Mix in vanilla extract and honey. If using frozen berries, add them at this step.
Stir well to ensure everything is evenly distributed.
Seal the jar or bowl and refrigerate overnight, or for a minimum of 3-4 hours.
