Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats (certified gluten-free if needed)
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax
  • 3/4 cup almond milk (or dairy milk)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Handful of fresh or frozen berries
  • Handful of sliced almonds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a mason jar or small bowl, combine oats, ground flax, almond milk, and optional chia seeds.
  • Screw on the lid tightly or cover the bowl, and shake or stir the ingredients to combine.
  • Mix in vanilla extract and honey. If using frozen berries, add them at this step.
  • Stir well to ensure everything is evenly distributed.
  • Seal the jar or bowl and refrigerate overnight, or for a minimum of 3-4 hours.
  • The next morning, give your oats a quick stir. Top them with fresh berries and sliced almonds for a crunchy, fruity finish.
