  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 3 10 ounce packages frozen broccoli florets
  • 8 ounces shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 dash paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and butter a 9x13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the condensed soup, mayonnaise, beaten egg, and chopped onion until well combined.
  • Place the frozen broccoli florets in a large mixing bowl. Break apart any large chunks, and pour the soup mixture over the broccoli. Stir until evenly coated.
  • Fold in the shredded Cheddar cheese, reserving a small handful for topping.
  • Spread the broccoli mixture evenly into your prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the reserved cheese on top for a melty, golden finish.
  • Season the top with a pinch of salt, pepper, and a dash of paprika for color and flavor.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the cheese is fully melted and the top is golden brown. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
