Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine chicken, water, lemon juice, oil, salt, honey, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and parsley in a bowl or zip-top bag.
  • Mix thoroughly to coat the chicken evenly, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 6 hours).
  • Drain off excess marinade before cooking.
  • Preheat a grill, grill pan, or skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly coat with cooking spray or oil.
  • Place chicken pieces in a single layer on the cooking surface. Cook for 3–4 minutes per side or until meat reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and has light charring.
  • Remove from heat, let rest for 2 minutes, and enjoy warm!
