Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup diced green bell pepper, about ½ medium pepper
  • ¼ cup tame or pickled jalapeños, drained and patted dry
  • Fresh basil leaves and crushed red pepper, optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a round pizza pan or baking sheet with parchment paper for easy removal and cleanup.
  • In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, egg, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until fully combined.
  • Spread the chicken mixture into a thin, even circle (about 10–12 inches in diameter) on the prepared parchment. Smooth the edges with damp hands or a spatula to prevent cracking during baking.
  • Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until the crust is fully cooked and golden at the edges. Blot any excess moisture with a paper towel if necessary.
  • Increase oven temperature to 425°F. Spread pizza sauce over the baked crust, then sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Add diced green bell pepper and jalapeños evenly, and top with the remaining mozzarella.
  • Return to the oven and bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are delightfully crisp. For added crispness, broil during the last 2 minutes.
  • Let the pizza rest for 3–5 minutes before slicing to allow the crust to firm up.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves and crushed red pepper, if desired, and serve hot!
