Cuisine American
- 4 cups dry roasted or raw mixed nuts of choice
- 1 ½ tablespoons avocado oil or olive oil
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon fine salt
- Juice of 1 lime (3-4 tablespoons)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
- Flaky sea salt
Preheat the oven to 325℉. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper for quick cleanup.
Spread the nuts in an even layer across the baking sheet to ensure even roasting.
In a small bowl, whisk together avocado oil, chili powder, cumin, fine salt, lime juice, and rosemary until well blended.
Drizzle the spice mixture over the nuts and toss thoroughly so every nut is coated.
Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to prevent burning. The nuts should turn golden and release a roasted aroma.
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with flaky sea salt while still warm for maximum flavor.
Let the nuts cool completely on the sheet pan for about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally during cooling to ensure they don't stick together.
Store the cooled nuts in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
