Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • ¾ - 1 cup non-dairy milk

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized bowl or jar, combine the chia seeds and cocoa powder. Stir thoroughly to ensure the cocoa is evenly distributed.
  • Pour in the maple syrup and ¾ cup of non-dairy milk. Whisk or stir well, breaking up any clumps of chia seeds or cocoa powder.
  • Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, then stir again to prevent chia seeds from settling at the bottom.
  • Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. The chia seeds will swell, creating a pudding-like texture.
  • Stir well before serving. If the pudding is too thick, add a splash of non-dairy milk to loosen it up. Customize with your favorite toppings!
