Cuisine American
- 2 lb. Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 5 Tbsp. olive oil, divided
- 1/2 tsp. hot paprika
- Kosher salt
- 6 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sriracha
- Aleppo pepper and sliced scallions, for serving
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F as you prepare the Brussels sprouts. In a large mixing bowl, toss the sprouts with 4 tablespoons of olive oil, hot paprika, and 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt to season evenly.
Place the Brussels sprouts in your air fryer basket in a single layer (work in two batches for best results). Air-fry them for 9-11 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they’re crispy, charred, and tender.
Meanwhile, whisk together the maple syrup, sriracha, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Set aside 2 1/2 tablespoons in a separate bowl and stir in the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
Toss the first batch of roasted Brussels sprouts with 2 tablespoons of the syrup mixture in a large bowl, coating well. Repeat with the second batch and another 2 tablespoons.
Transfer the coated sprouts to a serving platter. Drizzle with the reserved maple-oil mixture and finish with a sprinkle of Aleppo pepper and sliced scallions for extra flavor.
