Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chicken wings (about 36 pieces, mix of flats and drummies, thaw if frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400℉.
  • Spread the wings on paper towels and pat them completely dry to ensure extra crispiness.
  • In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder and salt until evenly coated.
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t overlap. Work in batches if necessary.
  • Cook the wings for 10 minutes, then use tongs to flip them over.
  • Air fry for another 8 minutes or until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
  • Transfer the cooked wings to a large bowl and toss with your favorite sauce or dry rub (start with ¼ cup sauce and add more if needed).
  • Repeat the cooking process for any remaining wings, and enjoy them hot!

Notes

If you're avoiding salt, swap it for garlic powder or smoked paprika to add flavor without the sodium!
