Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ package taco seasoning mix
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup tomatoes, diced

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats for easy cleanup.
  • Spread 2 cups of shredded Cheddar cheese into four 6-inch circles on the prepared sheets, ensuring they're at least 2 inches apart.
  • Bake the cheese circles for 6-8 minutes until melted and lightly golden-brown. Let them cool for 2-3 minutes before carefully lifting with a spatula.
  • Shape the cheese shells by draping them over a wooden spoon handle balanced between two cups. Allow them to cool completely, about 10 minutes.
  • While the shells cool, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 7 minutes, stirring frequently to break up any clumps.
  • Season the cooked beef with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute longer to blend the flavors.
  • Divide the beef mixture evenly among the cheese taco shells. Top with avocado, lettuce, shredded Cheddar cheese, and diced tomatoes. Serve immediately and enjoy!
