Cuisine Italian
- 36 uncooked jumbo pasta shells
- 1 jar (24 ounces) spaghetti sauce
- 36 frozen fully cooked Italian meatballs (1/2 ounce each), thawed
- 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse them in cold water to stop the cooking process and make them easier to handle.
Spread 1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish for a flavorful base.
Stuff each cooked shell with one thawed Italian meatball and place it carefully into the baking dish.
Pour the remaining sauce evenly over the stuffed shells, ensuring they’re well-coated to keep them moist during baking.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese across the top, covering the shells completely.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 3–5 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
