Ingredients

  • 36 uncooked jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) spaghetti sauce
  • 36 frozen fully cooked Italian meatballs (1/2 ounce each), thawed
  • 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse them in cold water to stop the cooking process and make them easier to handle.
  • Spread 1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish for a flavorful base.
  • Stuff each cooked shell with one thawed Italian meatball and place it carefully into the baking dish.
  • Pour the remaining sauce evenly over the stuffed shells, ensuring they’re well-coated to keep them moist during baking.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese across the top, covering the shells completely.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 3–5 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
