Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup vanilla non-dairy milk or regular milk
  • 1/4 cup vanilla non-dairy yogurt or regular yogurt (optional)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey, agave, etc.)
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Combine rolled oats, milk, yogurt, maple syrup, chia seeds, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt in a jar or bowl.
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly, ensuring the chia seeds are evenly distributed.
  • Seal the jar with a lid or cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours, to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.
  • Before serving, give the oats a good stir. If the mixture feels too thick, add a splash of milk to adjust the consistency.
  • Top your oats with fresh fruit, nut butter, granola, or any toppings you love. Enjoy!

Notes

Store leftover oats in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. Make sure they are tightly sealed to preserve freshness.
