Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Spoon or spatula for stirring
  • Greased cookie sheet

Ingredients

  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 ½ cups chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease a cookie sheet to prevent sticking.
  • In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, beaten eggs, and sugar. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  • If you’re using chocolate chips and/or pecans, fold them into the dough for added texture and flavor.
  • Drop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared cookie sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.
  • Let the cookies cool on the cookie sheet for 5–10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Then, dig in and enjoy!

Notes

To ensure the best results, use natural peanut butter made with just peanuts and salt. Avoid overbaking, as the cookies will firm up while cooling.
