  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) at room temperature
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 ripened bananas
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar and softened butter until smooth and creamy.

  • Peel and mash the bananas, then fold them into the mixture.
  • Gradually add the flour, mixing gently until a thick batter forms. Avoid overmixing.
  • Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips for added gooeyness in every bite.
  • Pour the batter evenly into your prepared pan and sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
