Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, red onion, garlic, parsley, dill, breadcrumbs, egg, feta, lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to gently mix until just combined—don’t overmix, otherwise, the meatballs may become too dense.
Roll the mixture into 1–1.5 inch meatballs and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs for 15-18 minutes or until they are cooked through and lightly golden on the outside. The internal temperature should reach 165°F.
While the meatballs are baking, prepare the cucumber tomato salad. In a medium bowl, combine diced cucumber, tomato, red onion, parsley, olive oil, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to coat and store in the fridge until ready to serve.
To serve, arrange the meatballs over your grain of choice, top with a drizzle of tzatziki sauce, sprinkle with feta and parsley, and garnish with kalamata olives. Add the cucumber tomato salad on the side and enjoy!
