- 1 stick unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 4 ripe peaches halved and pitted
- Canola oil for brushing
- Mint leaves for garnish
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter until smooth. Add the cinnamon sugar, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt. Stir until fully combined and set aside.
Preheat your grill to high heat. Make sure the grates are clean to prevent sticking.
Brush the cut sides of the peach halves with canola oil to help them caramelize and prevent sticking on the grill.
Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until they are golden brown with visible grill marks and just tender.
Remove peaches from the grill and immediately top each half with a teaspoon of the cinnamon sugar butter. Let it melt slightly over the hot peaches.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve warm. Enjoy as is, or pair with a dollop of yogurt or vanilla ice cream for an elevated dessert.
