  • Blender
  • Mesh strainer
  • Ninja Creami machine
  • Ice cream maker

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup monk fruit sweetener, or sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon agave syrup
  • 1 cup whole milk plain yogurt

Instructions

  • Combine the blueberries, monk fruit sweetener, and water in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat.
  • Simmer for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the berries release their juice and soften.
  • Cool the mixture, blend until smooth, and strain through a mesh strainer into a bowl. Discard the pulp.
  • Stir in the agave syrup and yogurt until smooth. Pour into an empty Ninja Creami pint container.
  • Freeze flat for 24 hours.
  • Remove, assemble into the Ninja Creami machine, and select “Lite Ice Cream.”
  • If crumbly, re-spin the mixture to achieve creaminess.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture!
  • Standard option: Use an ice cream maker, following the manufacturer’s instructions to churn until frozen.

Notes

Choose ripe, sweet blueberries for maximum flavor. Straining the blended mixture ensures a silky-smooth consistency. Experiment with combining fruits like raspberries or blackberries for variations.
