- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
In a separate bowl, mix the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until a cohesive dough forms. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The centers will still look slightly undercooked—this gives them that soft and chewy texture.
Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
