Ingredients
2
ripe mangoes, peeled and diced (about 2 cups)
2
cups
fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1
cup
sugar (adjust based on sweetness preference)
1/2
cup
water
2
tablespoons
fresh lime juice (optional, for added brightness)
Instructions
Start by peeling and dicing the mangoes into small pieces. Hull and slice the strawberries.
In a blender or food processor, combine the mangoes, strawberries, sugar, water, and lime juice (if using) until smooth and creamy.
Taste the mixture and adjust sugar or lime juice as needed. Blend briefly again to incorporate any adjustments.
Pour the mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe dish. Cover the dish airtight and place it in the freezer.
Let the sorbet freeze for 4-6 hours, stirring every couple of hours to break up ice crystals for a smoother texture.
Once fully frozen, scoop and serve your homemade strawberry sorbet immediately!
Notes
Choose ripe fruits for the best flavor, and stir the sorbet every few hours during freezing for a smoother texture.
