Cuisine American
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 4 cups frozen (thawed) or fresh pitted cherries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
In a small bowl, combine the oats, almonds, cinnamon, and salt. Add the softened butter and avocado oil, using a fork to mix until crumbly.
In another bowl, toss the cherries with the vanilla extract and cornstarch until well coated.
Divide the cherry mixture evenly into four 8-ounce ovenproof ramekins.
Sprinkle the oat mixture generously over the top of each ramekin, ensuring an even layer for that perfect crumble topping.
Bake the ramekins on the middle rack of your oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cherries are bubbling and the topping is golden-brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
