Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 4 cups frozen (thawed) or fresh pitted cherries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • In a small bowl, combine the oats, almonds, cinnamon, and salt. Add the softened butter and avocado oil, using a fork to mix until crumbly.
  • In another bowl, toss the cherries with the vanilla extract and cornstarch until well coated.
  • Divide the cherry mixture evenly into four 8-ounce ovenproof ramekins.
  • Sprinkle the oat mixture generously over the top of each ramekin, ensuring an even layer for that perfect crumble topping.
  • Bake the ramekins on the middle rack of your oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cherries are bubbling and the topping is golden-brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
