Orange Peel Smoothie

This orange peel smoothie is a delicious and nutritious blend featuring the goodness of whole oranges, yogurt, and ginger, making it a perfect post-workout drink or refreshing breakfast option.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups whole-milk plain yogurt
  • 2 medium mandarin or clementine oranges, scrubbed and stemmed, plus slices for garnish
  • 2 medium frozen very ripe peeled bananas, sliced crosswise (about 1¼ cups)
  • cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • teaspoons grated fresh ginger

Instructions
 

  • Combine 2 cups yogurt, scrubbed oranges, sliced frozen banana, 1¼ cups frozen pineapple, and 1½ teaspoons grated fresh ginger in a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Alternatively, use a regular blender and blend for 2 to 3 minutes, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides as needed.
  • Pour the mixture into two 20-ounce glasses and garnish with fresh orange slices if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For maximum flavor, use organic oranges to incorporate the peel. Scrub thoroughly before use to remove dirt or residue.
