Cuisine American
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup reduced-fat plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup finely chopped cucumber
- 1 teaspoon snipped fresh dill
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add canola oil, swirling to coat the pan.
Season the salmon fillets on both sides with Italian seasoning and salt.
Place the salmon, skin side down, into the heated skillet. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for about 5 minutes, then carefully flip and cook an additional 5 minutes until the flesh flakes easily with a fork and the skin is crisp.
While the salmon cooks, combine the yogurt, mayonnaise, chopped cucumber, and fresh dill in a small bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Serve each salmon fillet with a generous dollop of dill sauce on top or alongside as a dipping option.
