Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup reduced-fat plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cucumber
  • 1 teaspoon snipped fresh dill

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add canola oil, swirling to coat the pan.
  • Season the salmon fillets on both sides with Italian seasoning and salt.
  • Place the salmon, skin side down, into the heated skillet. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for about 5 minutes, then carefully flip and cook an additional 5 minutes until the flesh flakes easily with a fork and the skin is crisp.
  • While the salmon cooks, combine the yogurt, mayonnaise, chopped cucumber, and fresh dill in a small bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Serve each salmon fillet with a generous dollop of dill sauce on top or alongside as a dipping option.
