Preheat your oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a 2-1/2-quart baking dish and set aside.
In a large skillet, cook and crumble the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. This should take about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Spoon a third of the spaghetti sauce into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce, followed by half of the cooked beef. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
Repeat the layers: sauce, ravioli, beef, and 1/2 cup of cheese.
Top with the remaining spaghetti sauce and the last 1/2 cup of cheese. Cover the dish with foil.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the dish is heated through and bubbling. For a golden, bubbly topping, remove the foil during the last 10 minutes of baking.
If desired, sprinkle with freshly chopped basil before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!
