Ingredients

  • 1 bone-in turkey breast (6 to 7 pounds), skin removed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  • Brush the turkey breast with olive oil, ensuring an even coat for moisture retention.
  • Mix minced garlic, seasoned salt, paprika, Italian seasoning, and pepper in a small bowl. Rub this seasoning blend generously over the turkey.
  • Place the turkey breast in a 6-quart slow cooker. Add 1/2 cup of water to the bottom to prevent sticking and create steam.
  • Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours, or until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (check with a meat thermometer for accuracy).
  • Remove the turkey from the slow cooker and let it rest for at least 10 minutes before carving. This resting period locks in the juices.
