Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup non-dairy milk (or dairy milk)
  • 1/3 cup non-dairy vanilla yogurt (or dairy yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup diced strawberries
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey, agave, etc.)
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • Optional toppings: Strawberries, yogurt, granola, nut butter

Instructions

  • Add rolled oats, milk, vanilla yogurt, diced strawberries, maple syrup, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and salt into a jar.
  • Stir everything together until well combined, then seal the jar tightly with a lid.
  • Refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours, to allow the oats to soften and the flavors to meld.
  • When ready to enjoy, give the oats a good stir. You can add a splash of non-dairy milk if you want a thinner consistency.
  • Top with extra strawberries, yogurt, granola, or nut butter for a touch of crunch and luxury. Serve straight from the jar or transfer to a bowl, and dig in!
