Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and salt until the mixture resembles wet sand.
Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch deep-dish pie plate.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until the crust is set and lightly golden. Allow the crust to cool completely before proceeding.
In a mixing bowl, combine heavy whipping cream, espresso powder, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until soft peaks form. Set aside.
Spread the dulce de leche evenly over the bottom of the cooled crust.
Arrange two layers of banana slices on top of the dulce de leche.
Spoon the whipped cream generously over the bananas, creating decorative swirls if desired.
Refrigerate the pie for at least 3 hours (or overnight) to firm up.
Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings for an elegant touch, if desired.
