Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 small red onion
  • Kosher salt and pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Savoy cabbage
  • 1 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped dill pickles
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. whole-grain mustard
  • 2 slices white bread
  • 1/3 lb. sliced turkey
  • 1 tsp. hot honey

Instructions
 

  • Toss the red onion with a pinch of kosher salt in a small bowl, letting it sit for 5 minutes to soften. Rinse under cold water, then combine with Savoy cabbage, white wine vinegar, olive oil, and 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper. Toss everything until evenly coated.
  • In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, whole-grain mustard, and chopped dill pickles. Spread this creamy mixture generously over one slice of bread.
  • Layer the sliced turkey over the bread, drizzle the hot honey evenly on top, and spoon the cabbage slaw over the turkey.
  • Close your sandwich with the second slice of bread, slice, and serve immediately!
