Heat 3 tablespoons avocado oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for 3 minutes until translucent.
Add the ground turkey and cook for 3 minutes per side, then break it into smaller pieces with a spatula.
Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, turmeric, and sea salt. Stir well and cook for an additional 5-8 minutes until the turkey is cooked through.
Optional: Add a splash of coconut aminos, teriyaki sauce, or soy-free tamari for extra flavor.
You can cook the veggies with the turkey or in a separate skillet. For the first option, add the chopped carrots, squash, and broccoli to the turkey. Stir well, cover with a lid, and cook for 8-12 minutes until tender-crisp. For separate cooking, heat 1 tablespoon avocado oil in a second skillet, add the vegetables, and sauté uncovered until they reach your desired texture (about 5-7 minutes).
Divide the cooked turkey and vegetables among four bowls. For a balanced meal, serve with a scoop of steamed brown rice or cauliflower rice, and drizzle your favorite sauce on top if desired.
