  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder adjust to taste

Preheat the oven

  • Start by preheating your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup a breeze.

Mix the dough

  • In a medium bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, egg, and garlic powder. Stir everything together until the mixture forms a sticky dough. Don’t worry if it’s not perfectly smooth—that’s normal!

Shape the breadsticks

  • Transfer the dough to your lined baking sheet. Use your hands or a spatula to press it into a flat rectangle, about ¼ inch thick. If the dough is sticking to your hands, lightly oil them or use a piece of parchment paper to press it down.

Bake to perfection

  • Bake the dough in your preheated oven for about 12–15 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown and the top is set. Keep an eye on it to avoid overbaking.
